We are just now receiving the video from a recent collaboration I did with Collective Action Studio in SF. Our focus was on kung fu, asceticism, pole dance, femininity and masculinity. We wanted to show the masculine and feminine sides that exist within us all. We both have these two aspects and we need both of them in our daily situations to problem solve. At the end of our duet we also hosted a kung fu workshop which was really cool to see the audience participating in our movement style! I loved collaborating with Justin Hoover and look forward to the next one with the Kepler 452B collective.
